Expect wide open meadows perfect for ball games, gentle riverside paths, and plenty of other dog walkers. There are fine circular walks with longer routes for the ambitious. Benches and picnic areas along the way, plus dog bins throughout.

Local Tips from Evie

Start from Countess Wear Car Park for easy access. Walk upstream through the fields to the Double Locks pub, then continue to Exeter Quay, or walk downstream to The Turf. Early mornings (before 9am) are quieter if your dog prefers fewer canine encounters.
