What to Expect
A bustling quayside with historic buildings and cafes, leading to peaceful canal towpath. Start at the southern side of Exeter Quay and head south along the Exeter Ship Canal. The towpath is well-maintained, flat and accessible. Various circuits possible using paths and cycleways.

Walk upstream through the fields to Double Locks pub for a dog-friendly lunch. Continue to The Turf for a unique pub with no road access! Many cafes have outdoor seating welcoming dogs. The antiques centre is dog-friendly too!
