Historic parkland with formal gardens designed in the 1830s, woodland trails with winding paths, the Belvedere tower with panoramic estuary views, and 350 wild fallow deer (viewed from a distance). Dogs welcome on castle tours! Close-up views of deer, sheep, Grey Herons and Little Egrets.

FREE car parking on-site. Dedicated entrance and parking just off the A379 (EX6 8JQ). Can also park FREE at Powderham Farm Shop/Cafe and take the track at the bottom of the car park towards the estuary.
Dogs go FREE to Powderham! Dogs on leads welcome and can access ALL areas EXCEPT the deer park and walled garden. Please clear up after your dog in the waste bins provided. Dogs allowed on castle tour inside the house!
